Chimos August Prep Camp

The Edmonton Chimos will be holding it's Preparation camp in Leduc, Alberta from August 20 - 22, 2010. The Camp will be run Tournament style with players being placed on 4 teams. All teams will play 3 round robin games and have an opportunity to play in the Gold and Bronze medal games on Sunday. there is also one short practice for some to shake off the cob webs.
This camp will serve to introduce players to the Western Women's Hockey League and the Edmonton Chimos. The WWHL now has a new team joining the League - the Manitoba Maple Leafs.
The Chimos coaching staff will invite players from the Prep Camp to the main tryout camp to be held from Sept 18 - 26, 2010.
The cost of the Prep Camp is $80 for the 5 ice sessions. If you would like to participate in the Chimos August Prep Camp or more information on the camp please call Matt Appelt as soon as possible since the camp is over 60% full. Matt can be reached @ (780) 908-4517.

Both Jason Schmidt and Arlan Maschmeyer will be attending the WWHL AGM on June 5, 2010. The League will look at expansion, League sponsorship, and other logistics. Details to follow......
